Warehouse Systems Operations Engineer (WAVE Control)

Job Title: Warehouse Systems Operations Engineer Location: On-Site, Dublin Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Rotating Days and Nights, 1 in 3 Sundays We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Systems Operations Engineer to join our client’s Engineering team and support the operational performance of the warehouse site. This is a critical, on-site role requiring strong systems knowledge, real-time troubleshooting capabilities, and coordination across multiple departments. Key Responsibilities: * Manage order release and outbound process to ensure timely dispatch * Monitor warehouse wave execution, replenishment, and pick routing * Coordinate emergency orders and resolve warehouse queries * Troubleshoot operational and system issues in real time * Produce hourly and daily performance reports * Support planned downtime and escalate issues as needed * Drive continuous improvement across systems and processes Requirements: * Ideally, 3+ years of process engineering experience (FMCG preferred) or 1+ years’ experience with appropriate degree * Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, such as SAP, WAMAS, SCADA, SAP4, S/4HANA, Wave Management Process, SAP EWM * Strong analytical skills and system proficiency * Experience with Lean Six Sigma (preferred) * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint * Must be available for all shifts on-site (remote work is not possible) This role would be suitable for: warehouse control room operator, automation control specialist, warehouse operations controller, automation systems coordinator, warehouse systems coordinator, logistics systems engineer, warehouse systems engineer, operations system engineer, process control analyst (logistics).
