Estimator – Interior Fit-Out (Full-Time) Salary: £40,000+ (dependent on experience) Flexible working: Office / Home / Site About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Estimator to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with industry experience who can take ownership of enquiries from initial concept through to cost presentation — acting as a trusted adviser to clients throughout the journey. You’ll meet clients, interpret briefs and drawings, prepare detailed cost estimates, and play a key part in maintaining a strong pipeline of projects within the business. Key Responsibilities: * Meet with potential clients to understand project requirements before pricing * Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for medical and commercial interior fit-out projects * Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to assess project scope and risk * Obtain competitive quotations from subcontractors and suppliers * Prepare bills of quantities and cost breakdowns * Attend client meetings, site visits, and pre-tender briefings * Liaise with design, procurement, and delivery teams to ensure consistency across pricing and scope * Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives * Lead handover meetings with delivery teams to ensure smooth project transition * Maintain up-to-date pricing databases and supplier contacts * Assist with pricing and managing variations on live projects About You: * Proven experience as an Estimator within a fit-out or interiors main contractor * Experience in healthcare, medical, or laboratory projects (preferred) * Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and services * Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail * Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills * Ability to interpret CAD drawings and prepare accurate costings * Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with digital systems * Able to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team What We Offer: * Competitive salary * Flexible working arrangements * Ongoing professional development and career progression * Supportive, collaborative, and forward-thinking team culture If you’re commercially minded, detail focused, and ready to play a key role in delivering high-quality fit-out projects, we’d love to hear from you!
