Repairs & Maintenance Surveyor – £36 per hour Location: Ealing / Mobile (London & South East) Contract: Temp, Full-Time, 35 hrs (Mon–Fri) DBS: Standard Multi Trades Recruitment are hiring six Surveyors to support a social housing Repairs & Maintenance team. You will be carrying out property surveys, diagnosing issues such as damp/mould and disrepair, and ensuring homes remain safe, compliant and well-maintained. What You’ll Be Doing: • Carry out property inspections across a housing portfolio • Diagnose damp, mould and general disrepair issues • Identify maintenance needs and recommend solutions • Plan and schedule works with the maintenance teams • Ensure compliance with building regs, safety standards and CDM • Survey homes for Aids & Adaptations or resident-funded improvements • Produce clear technical reports and specifications • Manage costs using NHF Schedule of Rates (M3NHF) • Monitor contractor performance and address service issues • Handle complaints and ensure high customer satisfaction What You’ll Need: • At least 2 years’ experience in social housing, surveying or property maintenance • Strong knowledge of damp, mould and disrepair diagnostics • Understanding of CDM 2015, HHSRS and housing legislation • Experience with NHF Schedule of Rates (M3NHF) • Good IT skills and ability to produce clear reports • Full clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle • HNC/Degree in Surveying/Construction (desirable, not essential) • GCSEs A–C in Maths & English (or equivalent) If you’re technically strong, organised and used to working in social housing environments, we’d like to hear from you.
