Job Title: Events Manager Location: Pontefract Salary: £15 per hour Job Type: Full time, permanent Purpose of the Role: We are looking for an experienced Events Manager to support the Head of Outdoor Events in planning, organising, and delivering a full calendar of seasonal events-including the Pumpkin Festival, Sunflowers, Tulips, Pick-Your-Own experiences, FarmTrax, vehicle shows, craft fairs, and more. The role ensures events are well-coordinated, safe, guest-focused, and aligned with Farmer Copleys' values and standards. Key Responsibilities: Event Planning & Administration; Assist in the planning and organisation of a diverse range of seasonal events. Schedule meetings with third-party suppliers, contractors, and potential clients. Complete and manage event paperwork, ensuring it reflects individual client requirements. Circulate event documentation promptly to ensure all departments are briefed and aligned. Participate in regular meetings to review upcoming and past events, contributing ideas for continuous improvement year on year. Ensure event timelines and key milestones are met consistently.Event Delivery & Operations; Support the physical setup, maintenance, cleanliness, and organisation of event spaces, including manual handling tasks. Act as a key point of contact during events, overseeing all aspects of on-the-day delivery. Manage post-event wrap-up processes, ensuring smooth breakdown and handover. Oversee consumable stock levels and organise replenishment where required. Assist with staff recruitment, rota planning, and daily coordination of casual event teams. Liaise with the Marketing Team to support event promotion and messaging. Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and local licensing requirements. Carry out key holder duties and complete cashing-up procedures as required. Provide support and occasional cover for the maintenance and farm teams. Act as a trained First Aider on-site.Professional Standards; Represent Farmer Copleys in a friendly, professional manner at all times. Act as an ambassador for the brand, consistently demonstrating company values. Maintain competency in Microsoft Office and general digital administration.
