About the Role: As an Electrical PAT Testing Engineer, you'll be the backbone of our equipment maintenance and testing operations. You'll ensure that both in-house and customer equipment meet the highest standards of safety and functionality. Your expertise will play a crucial role in keeping our rental stock ready and reliable for our exciting projects. Key Responsibilities: Conduct inspection, testing, and maintenance of hire stock electrical distribution units and equipment. Maintain accurate records of inspections and repairs. Work to schedules, ensuring equipment readiness is always maintained. Collaborate with the team while adhering to company Health & Safety protocols. Repair and maintain a variety of equipment including Audio, Lighting, Power Distribution, and Rigging. Assist with new-build equipment projects, contributing your knowledge and skills. What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate will have: 18th Edition Qualified Electrician certification. A City & Guilds qualification in Inspection & Testing (e.g., 2391, 2392, 2394, 2395). A City & Guilds 2377 qualification in PAT testing. Proven experience in Portable Appliance Testing and a solid understanding of 3-phase systems and variable RCDs. The ability to carry out repairs on distribution equipment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. A proactive attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent workload management and prioritisation skills. Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. A valid UK driving licence. Prior experience with Hiretrack rental management software is a plus but not essential. Why Join Us?
