Due to continued growth, we’re seeking an experienced AV Project Implementation Engineer to take a lead role in delivering complex AV installations to an exceptional standard. The Role As the Project Implementation Engineer, you will act as the technical lead from project kick-off through to installation and commissioning. You will liaise directly with client teams to gather vital project information, ensure smooth technical delivery and oversee subcontractors and third-party specialists on-site. You’ll tailor and execute installation test plans, support commissioning activities across control systems, audio/DSP and video conferencing technologies, and provide technical input into project documentation. Post-installation, you may also support the resolution of any system-related issues to ensure a seamless client experience. Key Responsibilities Act as the technical lead for AV implementation projects from initiation through to delivery. Coordinate with clients to obtain required technical details (IP data, network/firewall changes, room layouts, FM dependencies). Oversee subcontract engineers and ensure all work meets company standards. Create and execute installation test plans; support System Commissioning Engineers. Commission AV control systems, DSP (Biamp preferred), audio and video conferencing solutions. Assist with RAMS and O&M documentation. Provide post-installation technical support where required. Occasional out-of-hours work on PAVA installations alongside the PAVA Manager. Skills & Experience Required Strong technical background in professional audio-visual technologies. Significant experience leading AV installation projects end-to-end. Competency in DSP setup/commissioning (Biamp ideal), control integration and AV networking. Strong troubleshooting and service skills with a methodical, analytical mindset. Excellent communication skills and confidence working with clients and stakeholders.
