Ourt cllient is looking for a Permanent Commercial Pipework Fitter & Breakdown Engineer Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per year Job Type: Full-time Location: On the road (must be within a commutable distance of Wandsworth) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Commercial Pipework Fitter & Breakdown Engineer to join a long-established and growing team. This role involves working across commercial and residential environments, ensuring high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and communal systems. Key Responsibilities - Install and repair commercial heating pipework and components on communal systems - Carry out breakdown attendance and fault diagnosis on various heating systems - Install and repair domestic heating pipework, including thermostatic valves, pumps, cylinders, radiators, HIUs, and associated equipment - Troubleshoot and diagnose system faults efficiently - Maintain accurate service records using internal systems - Participate in the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota (currently 1 in 6 weeks, covering weekdays OOH and weekends) Skills & Experience Required - Experience with commercial and domestic heating systems, including HVAC installation and maintenance. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating - Strong understanding of residential and commercial heating systems - Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel - Excellent communication skills and commitment to customer care - Must be within a commutable distance of Wandsworth Enhanced DBS check required for work in schools and colleges Salary & Benefits - Competitive salary £40,000–£45,000 - Company van provided - Fuel card, phone, PDA, PPE, and specialist tools supplied - Pension scheme with salary-sacrifice option and 4% employer contribution - Employee Assistance Programme - Travel time paid - Plenty of overtime opportunities - Ongoing training and professional development Please apply via CV or contact Carley ASAP
