We’re seeking a Workshop Support Unit (Parts) to join our fantastic team at our Birstall depot. As a Workshop Support Unit (WSU) you will be responsible for the accurate identification and timely supply of parts to the workshop, ensuring proactive support to maximise parts availability and workshop efficiency. This includes pre-picking parts for scheduled jobs and preparing comprehensive workshop quotes covering both parts and labour. The successful candidate will also manage job card parts vetting, obtain final order numbers, and handle the return of warranty and contract parts from the workshop. You should be a strong team player with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations by delivering a first-class service. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach are essential to succeed in this role. As a WSU you must have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude, and willingness to work as part of an effective team. Commercial experience in a similar environment or previous experience within a similar role would be an advantage however full training will be provided. Communication both internal and external is key within this role. Hours 4 on 4 off shift pattern: 06.00am – 19.00pm.
