Known for delivering landmark building projects across the islands, our client has a dedicated team made up largely of staff from the Channel Islands and the UK mainland. They are now looking to strengthen their engineering capability with the appointment of a Company Engineer . This is a key position with responsibility for all engineering matters across the company’s projects on one of the major islands. The Role As Company Engineer, you will be the go-to person for all engineering-related queries , providing technical guidance and hands-on support across multiple live sites. Responsibilities include: Setting out for building, groundworks, drainage and frame construction Managing QA, compliance and engineering standards across projects Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues independently Supporting site teams with practical, hands-on engineering solutions Reporting directly to the Project Manager on each scheme Background Required This role requires someone who can work autonomously , manage their own workload, and operate confidently as the central engineering point of contact. It is envisaged that suitable candidates will bring: Several years’ experience as a Site Engineer Strong background in building projects, groundworks, drainage and structural works Ability to manage technical challenges while also remaining hands-on A relevant tertiary qualification (engineering or construction-related) Why Consider This Opportunity?
