Control Systems Engineer £50-60k + Pension + 25 Days Holidays + Health Insurance + Profit Share Oxfordshire Ref: 24401 Control Systems Engineer - The Role: Design and specify control systems, safety solutions, and electrical components for complex industrial automation Develop electrical schematics and layouts using AutoCAD Electrical Plan control system architecture and write technical specs & process flow diagrams Collaborate closely with Design & Applications Engineers to ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery Program and test PLC based industrial control systems (Siemens & Allen Bradley) Conduct electrical testing on newly built machines Conduct electrical testing and commissioning of new systems Support system installation and provide aftercare (minimal UK/international travel – less than 5%) Control Systems Engineer - The Person: 3+ years’ experience in PLC programming and electrical panel design Strong understanding of machine safety standards and electrical regulations Solid understanding of industrial communications (Profinet/Profibus, Ethernet/IP, TCP/IP, OPC, IO-Link, etc.) Degree in Electrical, Control, or Automation Engineering (2:1 or above preferred) Interest in robotics or AI-driven automation advantageous Apply Today!
