We are partnering with a global leader in material handling technology to hire a Senior Site Supervisor to join their expanding UK delivery team. In this position, you will play a key role in driving the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of major baggage handling system installation projects. You’ll support and guide site teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure seamless delivery from installation through to commissioning. As a Senior Site Supervisor, you will be the go-to person on site—ensuring installation activities are delivered safely, on schedule, and in alignment with project requirements. Your responsibilities will include: * Leading the creation and execution of installation plans alongside the Construction & Project Management teams. * Monitoring installation performance, ensuring work meets technical, safety, quality, and budget standards. * Driving a “right first time” approach across all construction activities. * Coordinating daily communication with project managers, subcontractors, and wider site teams. * Managing E&M subcontractor performance and ensuring compliance with project specifications. * Championing a strong safety culture throughout all phases of site delivery. * Preparing logistics plans, installation readiness assessments, and site layout documentation. * Overseeing steelwork installation, mechanical/electrical works, inspections, testing, and handover processes. * Supporting commissioning teams by ensuring entry criteria and installation quality prerequisites are met. * Leading, mentoring, and developing supervisors and site personnel throughout the project lifecycle. * Implementing improvements across site processes to optimise efficiency and installation quality. What You Bring To excel in this role, you should have: * Proven experience supervising or managing site teams on large-scale Automated Material Handling or Baggage Handling System projects. * Strong understanding of full project lifecycle stages—from pre-construction to final handover. * Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams, resolve issues proactively, and chair site-level meetings. * Solid knowledge of CDM Regulations, Health & Safety at Work Act, and safe installation practices. * Strong technical understanding of engineering drawings, layouts, specifications, and project schedules. * Competence in planning site activities, creating lookahead schedules, and supporting master schedule requirements
