Job Specification: Labourer – Construction (Kitchen & Bathroom Rip-Outs) Location: Wolverhampton Salary: £30,000 package per annum Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our construction team in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out strip-out and preparation works on domestic properties, focusing primarily on the removal of kitchens, bathrooms, and associated fixtures. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong practical skills and experience in similar environments. Key Responsibilities * Carry out safe and efficient strip-out works on kitchens, bathrooms, and internal fixtures * Assist tradespeople on-site as required * Load, handle, and dispose of waste materials in accordance with company and industry standards * Prepare work areas and ensure sites are kept clean and tidy * Follow all health & safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment * Transport materials, tools, and waste as needed Required Skills & Experience * Previous labouring experience within construction or property refurbishment * Ability to use hand and power tools safely * Understanding of site health & safety practices * Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team Essential Requirements * Valid CSCS card * Own transport (due to travel between sites) Desirable * Experience specifically in kitchen and bathroom rip-out work * Asbestos awareness training * Manual handling training Benefits * £30,000 annual package * Consistent, long-term work in the Wolverhampton area * Opportunities for progression and additional training
