You will be responsible for servicing, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on HGVs, trailers, and fleet vehicles, ensuring they are safe, compliant, and road-ready. Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician - Perform servicing and preventative maintenance on HGVs and trailers - Carry out major and minor mechanical and electrical repairs - Diagnose faults and plan repair work - Complete relevant documentation and warranty claims - Maintain workshop cleanliness and stock control - Provide support for roadside breakdowns when required Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Technician Essential - Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI) - Proven experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter - Ability to identify worn and faulty components to DVSA standards - Full UK driving licence Desirable - Experience with diagnostics and advanced repair work - Flexible approach and good time management skills - Team player with strong attention to detail Click ‘Apply Now’ to take the next step in your HGV Night Shift Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter career.
