ROLE: Assistant Sales Manager SALARY: Up to £40,000 + commission (OTE £51k) LOCATION: Birmingham (office based) Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a leading business based in Birmingham City Centre, who due to growth, are looking to expand their sales team and recruit an experienced Assistant Sales Manager. The right candidate will have a strong background in outbound sales and will be confident in supporting the Sales Manager with training, coaching, 1-1s and day-to-day team management. Experience in driving team productivity and performance metrics is a must for this role! DUTIES: * Lead by example on the sales floor, motivating and developing a diverse sales team across all channels. * Create a positive, inclusive, high-performance culture with clear vision, strong communication, and consistent recognition. * Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and implement strategies to improve productivity. * Use the CRM effectively and support the team in leveraging it as a key sales tool. * Identify individual development needs and deliver tailored coaching in partnership with the Sales Manager. * Stay informed on products, markets, and competitors, sharing insights to elevate team capability. * Ensure full adherence to processes, compliance, and quality standards in all customer interactions. * Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, upsell, and expand the customer base. * Provide accurate tracking updates, forecasts, and data allocation to support sales activity.
