Embedded Development Engineer

Embedded Development Engineer required by my client specialising in electric-drive and hybrid technologies.They are searching for a talented and passionate embedded development engineer to help them design, develop and expand their power generation and hybrid electric drive products. Essential skills include : A recognised university degree in Software/Computer Science Engineering (or equivalent) Minimum 3+ years of experience as an embedded/systems development engineer and a Strong interest in creating quality products . Passionate with an eye for detail and able to demonstrate experience developing with embedded C Proficient programming with Python with tools for source control and issue tracking such as git and Jira Ability to adapt to new technologies and platforms and to prioritise task assignments to meet project schedules and objectives . Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Desirable Skills and Attributes include : Exposure to energy generation and/electronics Good understanding of hardware/firmware debugging techniques and a knowledge of protocols and/or standards including NMEA2000, BMEEA, ABYC .
