Shift Electrician

Electrical Shift Engineer – Central London Salary: £55,000+ per year Hours: Monday to Friday – Weekly rotating shifts (07:00–15:00 / 15:00–23:00) We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join our maintenance team on a prestigious commercial contract in Central London. You’ll be working as part of a two-person engineering team, ensuring the smooth running of all electrical systems across a busy, high-end site. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a large commercial building * Perform fault-finding, testing, and repair on electrical systems including lighting, power, and distribution boards * Support building services including emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, and control panels * Work closely with another engineer to deliver consistent, high-quality service * Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with regulations and company procedures * Maintain accurate records of work and assist with compliance documentation Requirements * Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / 18th Edition) * Proven experience in a commercial building maintenance or facilities environment * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team * Excellent communication and time management skills What’s on Offer * £55,000+ annual salary * Monday to Friday – No weekends * Rotating shift pattern (07:00–15:00 and 15:00–23:00) * Work on a prestigious Central London contract * Supportive team environment and opportunities for progression If you’re an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer looking for a stable role with a great team and excellent benefits, apply today
