HV Linesman

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a HV Linesman on a permanent basis, based UK Wide Role Summary Working as part of a team you will be directly involved in a diversity of challenging overhead line projects constructing and replacing out-dated networks. You will also be given the opportunity to develop your career along the way. Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: · A key part of an Overhead Line team to erect poles, change transformers and carry out any other overhead line work that may be required. · To construct/maintain/replace overhead electrical networks. · To lead by example and safely undertake works as directed. · To partake in the risk assessment process prior to project commencement and continually review and report changes to your Chargehand. · To work safely at all times and in line with Company and statutory safety requirements. · To ensure that all work is carried out efficiently and in accordance with Company procedures and client/Company distribution safety rules. · Install and construct overhead electricity networks to relevant construction standards and exacting quality standards. · To highlight any concerns, unsafe conditions or acts to your line manager. · To mentor other team members. · Acquire, maintain and develop own competence in accordance with legislative changes and customer requirements. · Work as part of a team to ensure the safe, effective and efficient implementation of our operations. · Maintain awareness of and conform to our SHEQ policy and issued safety instructions. · Maintain site safety at all times. · Conform to all instructions stated in method statements and risk assessments. · Report any concerns regarding SHEQ to the SHEQ team and your manager. · Adhere to our AIMED and TLC values. · Complete all work to high standards. · Maintain in good working order issued vehicles, tools and equipment Requirements · Proven experience as a linesperson. · Experience working on Dead Networks, Live LV Working etc. · IPAF accreditation – Training can be given · Full UK Driving License · NRSWA Operative Our Company Rubicon Consulting is a Talent management consultancy which helps you to optimise business performance and competitive advantage by choosing the right people first time
