Job Title: Complex Needs Teaching Assistant Location: Enfield, North London Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Salary: £95 - £130 per day (PAYE, DOE) Outstanding SEND School, Enfield Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded Special Needs School in Enfield, supporting pupils aged 4-19 with a wide range of severe and complex learning disabilities. You will work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and wider support staff to promote communication, independence, engagement, and wellbeing. Your role will include: Providing 1:1 and small-group support with individualised learning activities Assisting with sensory, therapeutic, and developmental interventions Supporting the development of communication, social, and life skills Creating a calm, structured, and nurturing environment that enables progress You'll need: Experience supporting pupils with complex, severe, or profound learning needs A patient, caring, and proactive approach to support Confidence assisting with personal care or medical needs (full training provided) A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Why work with Tradewind Recruitment?
