Job Title: Sales Represntative - Field Based  Location: Field Based - Nationwide & Office in Newport  Benefits: Company Car  Holiday: 28 Days plus Christmas Shutdown  Pay: £35,000.00 per year plus company car and benefits  Job Description: A field based role, providing national coverage, the role is suited to an experienced Sales Represntative that genuinely enjoys meeting customers, building relationships, and uncovering new opportunities. The successful applicant will spend 4 days per week on the road visiting new and existing clients, and 1 day per week in the office catching up with the team, planning your pipeline, and keeping things organised. Being "the face of the company", professionalism, friendliness, and a natural ability to get on with people are essential. Key Responsibilities Proactively visit new and existing customers to grow the company's revenue and client base.  Identify business opportunities, introducing our full product range, and demonstrating how we can support client projects. Supported by the internal team, who can prepare marketing packs, brochures, and tailored presentations to help you make a strong impression on every visit. Build strong, long-lasting relationships with decision-makers across the steel and construction sectors Represent the business brand with professionalism, confidence, and enthusiasm Manage your own workload, routes, and sales targets while keeping accurate CRM notes Work closely with the office team to ensure quotes, orders, and customer follow-ups run smoothly Attend industry seminars, trade shows, and exhibitions to stay informed on market trends, new products, and emerging opportunities Key Requirements Full UK driving licence Minimum 5 years' sales experience, ideally within the steel wholesale sector Comfortable working both independently and as part of a fast-paced team Highly organised with strong initiative and a proactive approach Competent using IT systems including Outlook, Word, CRM platforms, and sales software (training provided) If you would like to apply for the role of Operations Manager then please email your CV to (url removed)  or call Craig on (phone number removed) Closing date is 20.12.2025 Please note this could change subject to suitable applications.
