Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for experienced Social Workers to join the Children's Services teams for Cambridgeshire County Council across Ely, Huntingdon, and Wisbech. Duties and Responsibilities: * Carrying out high-quality assessments to promote children's safety, wellbeing, and long-term outcomes. * Managing statutory duties including Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries. * Developing effective care plans and coordinating multi-agency support. * Completing timely visits, including a substantial number outside the county. * Working collaboratively with education, health, police, and partner agencies. * Preparing clear, evidence-based reports and presenting information in meetings and court when required. * Maintaining accurate, compliant case recordings within statutory timescales. * Ensuring child-centred practice and capturing the voice of the child in all decision-making. Working Pattern: * Hybrid working - combination of office, home working, and visits. * Compressed hours (5 days in 4) and a 9-day fortnight available from day one, subject to service needs. * A significant proportion of visits are out of county, so applicants must be comfortable with regular travel.
