Requirements Lead Engineer - Radio Frequancy Clearance: UK national or dual UK citizen able to achieve SC Overview An established defence-technology organisation is expanding its Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) capabilities and is seeking an Equipment Requirements Authority (ERA) to support the development of next-generation RF systems. You’ll help define, manage, and validate equipment requirements across the full development cycle, working closely with engineering teams and industrial partners. What You’ll Do * Specify clear, accurate requirements for internal and external design teams. * Collaborate with Design Authority and customer stakeholders to shape technical solutions. * Manage work-package technical status, progress, and risks. * Define verification/validation strategies and agree on key performance and functional tests. * Oversee supplier performance against cost, schedule, and technical targets. * Communicate technical information effectively across diverse stakeholder groups. Desirable Experience * Knowledge of RF Electronic Support / Electronic Attack systems and platform integration. * Understanding of RF and electronic systems, algorithms, and performance modelling. * Experience transitioning hardware into production, including environmental/qualification testing. * Awareness of Integrated Air Defence Systems (IADS) and EW tactics. * Familiarity with UK defence research organisations.
