Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location: Bradford Salary: Up to £55,000 + Benefits Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Shifts: Rotating (05:45–14:15 / 13:45–22:15, Monday to Friday) We’re working with a leading name in the UK’s packaging sector, offering a fantastic opportunity for a skilled electrical bias engineer to join a fast-paced, high-performing team at their Bradford site. What you’ll be doing: * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and condition reporting * Rapid response to breakdowns and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime * Setting production lines to job specs and optimising equipment performance * Fault finding and hands-on problem solving across mechanical and electrical systems * Supporting continuous improvement and engineering development projects * Playing a key role in health & safety awareness and engineering best practices * Assisting with installations, refurbishments, and R&D activities What we’re looking for: * A recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering * Previous experience in a production, packaging or FMCG manufacturing environment * Strong fault-finding abilities across 3-phase motors, drives, and inverters * Familiarity with PLC programming (Siemens) * Comfortable reading and interpreting engineering drawings * A logical approach to troubleshooting and solving engineering issues * Experience working as part of a wider engineering and production team What’s in it for you: * Competitive salary up to £55,000 * Days & Afters shift * 23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays * Monday to Friday only — no weekends! * Career development within a stable, well-established business If you're a Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking to take the next step in your career with a forward-thinking manufacturer, apply today to be considered
