Supply Chain & Manufacturing Consultant (12-Week Project) £600-£700 per day | Outside IR35 | UK-based with travel to Yorkshire A fast-growing, VC-backed services provider is looking for an experienced Supply Chain & Manufacturing Consultant to lead a 12-week review of their end-to-end production process. This role is all about spotting inefficiencies, tightening operations, and shaping a smarter, scalable manufacturing and supply chain model. You'll work closely with plant leadership but operate independently, bringing clarity, structure, and practical recommendations. What you'll do: - Review the full manufacturing + supply chain workflow - Identify bottlenecks, cost savings, and improvement opportunities - Analyse suppliers, materials, logistics, and production planning - Deliver clear recommendations and an actionable roadmap What we're looking for: - Strong experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain optimisation - Background in CI/Lean/Six Sigma or interim consultancy - Someone confident working autonomously and travelling to Driffield as needed If you enjoy fixing processes, improving performance, and making a tangible impact fast, this is a high-autonomy, high-impact short-term project with a mission-driven operator.
