Workshop Fitter

Major Recruitment is excited to present an excellent opportunity for a Workshop Fitter to join a renowned global manufacturing company in Trafford Park. This is a fantastic chance to work in a fast-paced workshop environment with a company that values quality and expertise. Key Responsibilities: * Working efficiently in a busy workshop setting * Installing hydraulic fittings and pipes * MIG welding * Using a range of hand, power, and air tools * Interpreting and working from engineering drawings Location: Trafford Park, Manchester Duration: Temporary Ongoing (9-12 weeks, potentially longer) Pay Rate: Competitive – negotiable based on experience Working Hours: * Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM * Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:45 AM (38.75 hours per week) Essential Requirements: * Previous experience in a similar role within the Commercial Vehicles Industry * Strong skills in MIG welding and hydraulic installations * Ability to work effectively with hand and power tools * Experience reading engineering drawings If you have the relevant experience and are looking to join a leading company offering competitive pay and a supportive work environment, we’d love to hear from you!
