Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Oxford Sector: Construction Consultancy – Infrastructure, Education, Residential Salary: Up to £65,000 + Excellent Package Role Overview As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for: * Managing the commercial delivery of major infrastructure, education, and residential projects. * Overseeing cost planning, procurement, and contract administration. * Providing accurate financial forecasting and cost reporting to clients. * Managing NEC, JCT, and other contract frameworks. * Identifying and mitigating project risks to ensure on-time, cost-efficient delivery. * Supporting business growth and client development in the Oxford office. * Leading on sustainability and value-engineering discussions with design and delivery teams. About You * Minimum 4 years’ PQS / consultancy experience. * MRICS (or working towards chartered status). * Strong understanding of construction methodology, cost planning, and procurement. * Proven track record in budgeting, value engineering, and commercial reporting. * Skilled in cost management software (e.g. CostX, iTWO, CADMeasure). * Experience working under NEC or JCT contracts. * Excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative, client-facing role. * Passionate about sustainability and the future of the built environment.
