Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor Location: Winchester Sector: Construction Consultancy – Healthcare, Education & Commercial Salary: £40,000- £50,000 + Excellent Package Role Overview As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take ownership of projects from inception to completion, including: * Managing cost planning, procurement, and contract administration for live projects ranging from £5m to £50m. * Supporting the delivery of landmark schemes. * Overseeing budgeting, value engineering, and cost control to ensure commercial success. * Preparing detailed reports, forecasts, and risk assessments. * Developing strong client and stakeholder relationships across the region. About You The ideal candidate will bring: * 2+ years of PQS / consultancy experience (client-side or cost management). * MRICS or working toward chartered status. * Strong technical understanding of construction methodology, procurement, and cost control. * Experience working under JCT and NEC contract frameworks. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing clients and consultants. * Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and cost management tools (e.g., CostX, CADMeasure, iTWO). * Ambition to progress into senior roles and lead major projects.
