Fabric Engineer

Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Fabric Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. We are looking for a Fabric Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. The Fabric Engineer, will be responsible for: * Fire Door PPM service and repairs * Repairs and maintenance to building fabric * Minor repair and maintenance of tiling, walls and ceiling * Remedial minor building works following PPM activities completed by other service lines * Painting and decorating projects (as and when required) * Flooring repair and new installations * Basic plumbing repairs * Basic plastering * Stock management of site consumables * Relocation or removal of furniture * Hosting of subcontractors To be successful for this Fabric Engineer role you must have: * Qualified to a C&G or NVQ in a fabric trade, such as carpentry, painting and decorating, etc. * Previous experience of working as a fabric technician * Strong customer service experience If you feel you have the necessary skills set and experience to perform this Fabric Engineer role, and you are interested in an opportunity offering unparalleled career development, please apply now
