Job Title: Head Housekeeper – Wanstead Area (Full Time, Minimum 40 Hours per Week) Location: Wanstead, East London Salary: Competitive – rate to be discussed based on experience (current £31,200 pa) Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week (must be flexible to include evenings and weekends) About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-driven Head Housekeeper to oversee and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness across our portfolio of 5-star luxury short-stay properties in the Wanstead area. You will take pride in ensuring each property is cleaned and presented beautifully and consistently for every guest, managing cleaning schedules, stock control and quality checks. This role also includes hands-on cleaning duties and occasional support for additional cleaning jobs in the local area. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and carry out cleaning of luxury short-stay properties to 5-star standards * Oversee and manage property cleaning schedules, ensuring timely turnovers * Conduct regular quality checks and report maintenance issues * Manage cleaning stock, linen, and supplies * Liaise with management regarding guest arrivals, property readiness, and feedback * Provide direction and support to additional cleaning staff when required * Ensure all health, safety and hygiene standards are maintained Requirements: * Previous experience as a Head Housekeeper or in a similar role * Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards * Excellent organisational and time management skills * Ability to work independently and take initiative * Flexibility to work weekends and evenings when needed * Reliable, trustworthy and professional at all times * Driving licence preferred but not essential What We Offer: * Competitive pay (based on experience) * Minimum 40 hours per week * Supportive team and positive working environment * Opportunity to work within a growing property and hospitality business maintaining high-end homes To Apply: Please send your CV and a short cover note outlining your experience and availability in response to this ad
