Technical Sales Engineer - CNC


A great opportunity for a technical sales engineer has arisen for a leading manufacturing company who supply to various industries, including aerospace, oil & gas and defence. Job Description: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Understand customer requirements and translate them into manufacturable solutions. Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals tailored to client needs. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness of proposed solutions. Identify new business opportunities and contribute to strategic growth initiatives. Provide accurate quotations and lead negotiations through to contract closure. Stay current with industry trends, materials, and machining technologies. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetingsBeneficial Skills / Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or engineering within the machining or CNC manufacturing industry. Strong technical knowledge of CNC machining processes, materials, and tolerances. Proven track record of successful sales and customer relationship management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification preferred. Experience working with clients in aerospace, oil & gas, or defense sectors. Familiarity with ISO standards and quality assurance processes. Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and business development. Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally
