Employment Advisor

We are looking for an Employment advisor to promote and deliver employability support across the county. This role is ideal for someone passionate about community engagement, supporting residents to improve skills, build confidence, and access opportunities. Job Title: Employment advisor Location: East Parade, Rhyl, Denbighshire, LL18 3AH Contract: 4 months + Hours: 37 per week Rate: £16.00 per hour (Umbrella) As an Employment advisor, you will work closely with local community groups, council departments, and employability projects to: * Raise awareness of Working Denbighshire services and encourage participation in community-based activities. * Engage with “hard to reach” communities to build confidence, self-esteem, and progression into employability programs. * Attend events and community locations across Denbighshire, providing information and guidance to residents and stakeholders. * Maintain accurate records of engagement and outcomes, in line with monitoring requirements. * Work safely and in compliance with all council policies, including safeguarding, health & safety, and equal opportunities.
