KS2 Class Teacher – Burton-on-Trent Start date: ASAP Contract: Full-time, long-term (potential to become permanent) Location: Burton-on-Trent Salary: MPS/UPS – dependent on experience About the Role Class Mate is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Burton-on-Trent seeking an experienced and enthusiastic KS2 Class Teacher to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to teach a lively and engaging KS2 class within a school that values creativity, inclusion, and strong relationships. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a rich and inspiring curriculum that supports every child to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities * Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons across KS2. * Assess, record and report on pupil progress in line with school policies. * Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment. * Work effectively with teaching assistants and the wider school team. * Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues. Requirements * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential. * Recent experience teaching within KS2. * Strong classroom management and communication skills. * A passion for inspiring and supporting young learners. * Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
