Are you an enthusiastic HR professional looking to grow your career in a supportive and values-led environment? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive HR Assistant to join a leading manufacturing business and help deliver a high-quality people function. About the Role Working closely with the HR Manager, you’ll support the full employee lifecycle and help shape a positive workplace culture. This is a varied role with scope to grow and contribute across multiple areas of HR. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment: Manage vacancies end-to-end — from advertising and candidate communication to interviews, offers, contracts, and pre-employment checks. HR Systems: Optimise and contribute to system transition planning. General HR Admin: Track probation periods, coordinate appraisals, and process contractual amendments. Employee Relations: Support low-level ER matters including absence and sickness. Manager Support: Facilitate and coordinate HR processes across departments. Payroll: Provide monthly updates and liaise with our payroll provider. Benefits: Maintain portals and update schemes. Training: Oversee mandatory e-learning for new starters and support in future workshops.
