Senior Quantity Surveyor – Groundworks & RC Frame 📍 Location: London & Home Counties 💷 Salary: £80,000 – £90,000 per annum or £300 – £350 per day (DOE) 🕒 Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent | Freelance 🏗️ Start Date: Immediate Join Our Client’s Team RINROW is recruiting an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support our client across a series of long-term Groundworks and Reinforced Concrete Frame (RC Frame) projects throughout London and the Home Counties. This is a key commercial role within a growing team, offering the opportunity to take full ownership of project delivery, manage costs and contracts, and play a central part in ensuring quality, compliance, and profitability from start to finish. Key Responsibilities * Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of multiple RC Frame and Groundworks projects. * Liaise closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Manager, and wider delivery teams. * Oversee subcontractor procurement, valuations, payments, and final accounts. * Prepare cost/value reconciliations and monthly commercial reports. * Monitor productivity, highlight risks, and ensure accurate cost forecasting. * Represent the company professionally, maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. What We’re Looking For * Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction, ideally within Groundworks and RC Frame. * Strong knowledge of NEC or JCT contract administration. * Proven track record managing full commercial lifecycle – from tender to final account. * Confident communicator with strong analytical and negotiation skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. * Eligible to work in the United Kingdom and hold a full UK driving licence. Desirable * Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline. * Experience working on infrastructure, civil engineering, or reinforced concrete structures. * Previous experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
