To support us in our next ambitious and exciting phase of growth, we are looking for an IT Support Technician who will be responsible for ensuring that the Company’s IT infrastructure is effective, secure and scalable for growth. Do you have one or more of the below? 1+ years of experience in an IT support role, providing both hardware and software support. Experience with troubleshooting hardware issues for desktops, laptops, and office peripherals. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Office Suite, Entra, Exchange, Sharepoint, OneDrive). IT Related Qualifications or Certifications. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users. Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing multiple tasks and priorities. Eagerness to learn new technologies and take initiative in solving complex challenges. Here at Loop Technology our IT function is largely in-person, so it’s perfect for someone who thrives on providing great customer service while also having a hands-on experience with IT Support. Responsibilities: o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktop systems, laptops, printers, and other office IT equipment. o Assist users with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. o Assist users with other software packages used in Advanced Manufacturing (Training and Support will be provided) o Set up user accounts, permissions, hardware, software and peripherals for new employees. o Follow processes to offboard IT equipment and accounts for departing staff in compliance with organizational policies o Manage and organise IT equipment on-site, ensuring it is stored and accounted for correctly o Follow security best practices to ensure the protection of corporate systems and data o Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches for supported devices and systems. o Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations o Create and update user guides and provide training to end users as needed Other Info: Role may require occasional travel and overnight trips to our offices in Bristol and Sheffield, as well as to other customer sites on an ad-hoc basis. Clean Driving License held for at least 2 years is a requirement for this role.
