Quality Manager - Driving Excellence Across a Global Manufacturing Leader Kent, UK Permanent role Salary upto £75,000+ Benefits Are you a passionate Quality Leader ready to elevate standards and inspire change? A well-established UK-based manufacturer with a global footprint is seeking a dynamic Quality Manager to champion operational excellence, shape quality culture, and raise the bar across its manufacturing and engineering operations. About the role of Quality Manager This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing team within a business renowned for innovation, reliability, and customer excellence. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll lead the charge in embedding ISO 9001:2015 best practice, driving data-led decisions, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You'll be the driving force behind quality assurance, compliance, and proactive improvement-balancing strategy with hands-on leadership across production, engineering, supply chain, and service. Key Focus Areas of Quality Manager Lead and enhance the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO9001:2015. Drive a data-driven approach to identify trends, mitigate risk, and drive performance improvements. Inspire teams to adopt LEAN, 5S, and Six Sigma principles, embedding quality into every stage of manufacturing. Conduct and oversee internal and supplier audits to the highest standards. Champion customer satisfaction through root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and proactive engagement. Collaborate with senior leadership to define quality strategy, performance metrics, and continuous improvement roadmaps. About You You're an experienced Quality Manager or senior Quality professional from a manufacturing, engineering, or automotive background, with a passion for excellence and change leadership. You'll bring: ISO 9001:2015 Senior Auditor certification (essential). 5+ years leading quality in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Proven success embedding LEAN, 8D, DMAIC, or A3 problem-solving methods. Strong communication and influencing skills - able to engage and inspire at every level. Analytical and data-driven mindset; Power BI or data visualisation experience is a plus.
