CNC Machine Operator

DC Personnel is recruiting a skilled Machine Operator for a specialist manufacturing client based in Desford, Leicestershire. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining both CNC and manual machines to produce high-precision parts and components to exacting standards. Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm, Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm (39 hours per week) Salary: £25,500 - £29,500 per year (DOE; minimum 2 years’ experience required to achieve higher rate) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Key Responsibilities Operate 3-Axis Manual Milling machines and 4-Axis CNC machines Use various hand tools and sheet metal machinery for fabrication and finishing Execute work orders to meet quality, accuracy, and output targets Carry out quality assurance inspections on your own work and that of others Maintain a clean and safe working environment Handle physical lifting as required due to the nature of the products Knowledge & Skills: Previous machinist experience is ideal Engineering Level 2 qualification and familiarity with CAD preferred Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and perform precise measurements Basic computer literacy Understanding of workshop and production health & safety standards Good literacy and numeracy skills Personal Attributes: Reliable with good timekeeping Strong team player with ability to multitask Willingness to learn and develop new skills Positive ‘can do’ attitude High attention to detail and accuracy Flexibility to respond to short lead times How to Apply: If you’re interested in this position, please apply via the link below, or send your CV directly to: (url removed) DC Personnel are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
