Job Title: CNC Turner - Setter / Operator / Programmer
Location: Coventry
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay: Up to 20 per hour (DOE)

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating, and (where required) programming CNC lathes to produce precision components to tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate CNC lathes and turning centres

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

• Produce components to exacting standards and tight tolerances

• Select and set appropriate tooling and work-holding devices

• Use precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify accuracy

• Work to health & safety and quality standards

• Collaborate effectively within the team to meet production targets

• Previous experience operating and setting CNC lathes (1-3+ years)

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

• Skilled in setting up tooling, fixtures, and work-holding devices

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• CNC programming experience (Fanuc / Mazak / Siemens or similar) would be advantageous

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
