Data Protection Co-ordinator Responsibilies As a Data Protection Coordinator, you’ll support our Data Protection Officer (DPO) team in delivering a trusted, high-quality service that ensures we remain compliant with data protection regulations across the globe. You’ll become an important point of contact across the organisation, helping us manage sensitive information, track key activities, and contribute to the success of our data protection and compliance function. What You’ll Be Doing * Helping respond to internal and external requests in a timely and professional manner; ensuring we meet key performance and service-level targets. * Supporting the smooth handling of data protection tasks such as data subject access requests (DSRs), breach reporting, assessments, and documentation. * Maintaining accurate data and records using MPS systems, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. * Organising digital files, folders, and communications in line with internal policy and data protection best practice. * Building strong working relationships with colleagues across MPS to improve collaboration and efficiency. * Supporting the development of training materials and internal awareness campaigns. * Staying up to date on changes in data protection regulations and sharing insights or improvement ideas with the wider team. * Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting decisions and action points. The Ideal Candidate What You’ll Bring We’re looking for someone who has: * Excellent organisational and time management skills * A high level of discretion and professionalism when working with sensitive or confidential information * Confidence communicating with people across all levels of an organisation * Great attention to detail and a willingness to take ownership of tasks * A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills and concepts * Prior experience in a coordination, administration, or support role (any industry) In-depth experience in data protection is not required – if you're a fast learner and bring the right mindset, we’ll help you develop the knowledge you need to thrive in this role.
