RecruitUK are working with a highly successful and well-established wealth management firm to recruit a Paraplanner to join their growing team in Gloucester.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and Diploma-qualified Paraplanner to work with a dynamic team, support a wide range of clients, and benefit from excellent training and career development.

You will play a key role in providing high-quality technical support to Financial Planners, producing research and reports, preparing recommendations, and ensuring a smooth client journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to Financial Planners and act as first contact for client technical queries.
  • Research and analyse investment funds, pensions, and financial products.
  • Prepare suitability reports, recommendations, financial plans, cashflow modelling, and supporting documents.
  • Conduct fact finds and ensure client objectives are clear and achievable.
  • Assist with fund switches, encashment letters, and provider communication.
  • Work collaboratively with Advisers, Client Administrators, and other Paraplanners.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and maintain accurate client records.
  • Provide absence cover and support colleagues to meet deadlines.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) minimum qualification.
  • At least 2 years' Paraplanning experience within financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of the financial planning process.
  • Experience in research and report writing.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Knowledge of industry software (e.g., IO, FE Analytics) is advantageous.
