Role Overview:

You ll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tender submissions for projects ranging from GBP50,000 to GBP2 million

Your estimates will draw on thorough knowledge of refurbishment, construction, and maintenance scopes across their sectors, including custodial, education, commercial, healthcare and residential works.

This role is for someone living within the Midlands and surrounding areas as you will have a 50/50 split between home and site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare comprehensive cost estimates for tender bids (GBP50K GBP2M).
• Collate and analyse material, labour, plant, and subcontractor quotes.
• Ensure accurate risk assessment, including inflation and logistics.
• Monitor the company s core sectors: custodial, education, commercial, refurbishment, maintenance, residential.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align tender documentation and pricing.
• Maintain organised and defensible audit trails for all estimates.
• Work independently across the Midlands and Northern regions.
• Provide your own transport; a full UK driving license is essential.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience estimating for refurbishment and general construction projects (tenders between GBP50K GBP2M).
• Thorough understanding of our clients sector mix (custodial, education, commercial, residential, maintenance).
• RICS, BSc, BEng or CIOB qualification.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel regionally.
• Self-motivated and delivery-oriented mindset.
