Junior Mechanical Estimator

Salary: £20,000 - £32,000 + Travel to Site + Pension + Healthcare + Bonus (Discretionary) The Company: Our client is an established £40m+ Contractor throughout the UK, with a reputation for exceptional delivery on some of London’s largest and most complex construction projects. They’ve made a name for themselves across the construction industry and operate in the Commercial and Residential sectors with leading Main Contractors throughout the industry. Our client has over 20+ years on industry experience and due to consistent project wins, they’re looking to expand their team across the Junior Estimating side. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in preparing tender documents, budgets, and bills of quantities. * Support the estimating team in managing project costs and contracts. * Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost reporting. * Monitor and report on project financial performance. * Assist in the preparation of final accounts and variations. Qualifications and Skills: * Degree, HNC, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline. * Some experience in the M&E sector, ideally with commercial projects. * Strong numerical and analytical skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of estimating software is a plus.
