Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing We’re seeking a talented Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, working as part of a skilled maintenance team to keep production machinery and site facilities running at their best. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and facilities * Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime * Conduct inspections, condition monitoring, and safety checks on tools and equipment * Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, inverters, and control systems * Maintain and repair mechanical drives including chain, belt, gearboxes, and transmissions * Perform in-house fabrication, welding (MMA, MAG & MIG), and cutting (flame, plasma) * Handle power tools such as abrasive wheels, mag drills, and punches * Collaborate with operations to improve reliability, productivity, and equipment lifespan * Follow health & safety protocols and company quality/environmental standards Skills & Experience: * Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background (essential) * Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and instrumentation * Experience in heavy industrial environments * Valid UK driving licence (essential) * Forklift & MEWP licence (desirable) Qualifications: * City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 / HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Package: * Competitive salary + benefits * Permanent, full-time position * Opportunity to work with a skilled, supportive team in a company that invests in its people and equipment
