GSL Education are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly school community in Worthing this September . This role offers an excellent opportunity for an SEN TA to make a positive impact on students learning and development.

Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Deliver tailored assistance to students with special educational needs, either individually or in small groups.
• Help modify classroom materials and instructions to suit each learner's unique requirements.
• Encourage constructive behaviour and help pupils build interpersonal and emotional skills.
• Track and observe students' development and wellbeing, providing regular updates to teachers and the SENCO.
• Work in close partnership with school staff to carry out personalised learning and support strategies.

Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs in educational or care settings is preferred.

• A calm, understanding nature, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps explained.
