CNC Press Brake Operator

Job description Job Overview CNC Press Brake Operator - Immediate START Corr Recruitment are seeking a dependable, innovative candidate who works confidently and independently using both conventional machines for one of our well established client in Biggleswade. You should have an above-average aptitude for trigonometry, geometry, statistics, and algebra, excellent computer and interpersonal communication skills, physical stamina, and a keen interest in production and processing. To be successful as a machinist you should be creative, perceptive, meticulous, and an active learner. Manual Machinist Responsibilities: * ·Produce good quality components to the required hourly rate * Ability to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings * ability to work to tight tolerances * ability to work with Stainless Steel 90% of the time * Run, bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches. * Use a CNC controller to input information into machine. * Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions * Checks height, depth and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, callipers, and gauges. * Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum & regular steel ) CNC Brake Operator Requirements: * Ethical behaviour. * Attention to detail and self-motivation. * Team player Hours & Pay: 40-hour week Mon – Thur 7:00 till 4:00 Friday 7:00 till 1:00 Overtime available.
