Residential Support Worker (Children's Home)


Salary - Circa GBP34,000 including sleep-in allowance (GBP70.47 per sleep-in with an average of 11 per month)

The main duties of this role include:

To work as a member of the team to provide young people with a variety of activities, support, care and guidance using a positive parenting model
To follow guidance from the Team Leader and other senior colleagues to ensure the smooth day to day running of the home providing structure and appropriate boundaries for the young people in our care
To have a flexible approach to shift patterns which may sometimes require changes to rota at short notice
To ensure that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures
To undertake an in-depth quality and bespoke training package
To act as an advocate for the young person whilst using a positive parenting model
To attend staff meetings and be proactive in developing and improving the service model
