Care Induction Standards Trainer
We are a Care Agency seeking an experienced Trainer to deliver high-quality Induction & Refresher training programs in Health and Social Care. We are currently recruiting for a Trainer for our expanding Domiciliary/Residential services and Accredited Training Centre.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training sessions, workshops, and specialist health related courses including the 15 Care Certificate Standards that equip learners with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to work effectively in the Health & Social Care sector.
Applicants should have training and care giver experience of working within Health & Social Care settings; Domiciliary / Residential.
Key Responsibilities:
Working under the guidance and direction of the Head of Training to coordinate, develop and deliver ongoing training to Care and Support staff.
Complete relevant marking, follow-up administration, and compiling training paperwork.
Build a pipeline of prospective staff and foster long-term relationships with staff, providing refresher training and in field training when required.
Develop training modules and maintain accurate records of learner progress, attendance, and achievements.
Printing certificates and use of training tracker to monitor learner progress
On-boarding staff into their roles in the community or residential settings
Requirements:
At least 2 years' experience in health and social care, ideally from a Domiciliary/Residential/Support/Nursing background.
Relevant qualifications in health and social care, such as an NVQ Level 3 or above (or equivalent).
Recognized training or teaching qualification, e.g., Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET), PTLLS, or equivalent.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
Emergency First Aid, People Moving & Handling Train the Trainer qualification.
IT knowledge of Office 365

This is a full-time, permanent role, 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday). Applicants should be open to flexible working hours (i.e. occasional evenings and weekends) to accommodate assessment/auditing requests.
