Are you a Diploma-qualified Paraplanner ready to take the next step in your career? Our client in Edinburgh is offering an exciting opportunity to join a growing, energetic team where you'll be supported in your development and progression.

Your Role and Impact

As a Paraplanner, you'll play a vital role in supporting financial advisers by:

  • Delivering high-quality technical support to ensure clients receive maximum value.
  • Drafting clear, client-focused communications and bespoke financial plans.
  • Gathering and analysing both qualitative and quantitative data using advanced tools to produce compliant, tailored financial strategies.
  • Contributing to the enhancement of centralised, cost-effective propositions and participating in engaging project work.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with advisers to understand client goals and objectives.
  • Analyse client documentation including fact finds and meeting notes.
  • Source accurate data to support financial projections.
  • Create detailed financial plans in line with company standards.
  • Use financial software to generate precise projections.
  • Prepare thoroughly for client meetings, ensuring advice is aligned with their needs.
  • Support advisers during client presentations and respond to technical queries.
  • Produce polished reports following planning meetings.
  • Liaise with product providers and third parties.
  • Stay informed on regulatory updates and market trends.
What You'll Bring
  • Previous experience in a paraplanning role.
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified (or working towards it).
  • Ideally familiar with tools such as Cashflow Modelling Software, Intelligent Office, FE Analytics, Selectapension, Dynamic Planner, and various provider platforms.
