Site Supervisor

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Site Supervisor to lead operations on a school construction project , with a particular focus on roofing works . This is an active school site, so a strong awareness of safeguarding , site safety , and communication is essential.

The ideal candidate will have experience in felt roofing systems , in addition to a solid background in general site supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard

• Supervise roofing works and general construction tasks on a live school site

• Coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain schedule and quality

• Ensure strict adherence to safeguarding and health & safety protocols

• Conduct site inductions, risk assessments, and toolbox talks

• Report to the project manager with regular updates on progress and issues

Requirements

• Valid CSCS card (Supervisor level preferred)

• Enhanced DBS check (must be current and valid)

• SSSTS

• Previous experience supervising construction projects on live school or public-sector sites

• Experience with felt roofing systems (preferred but not essential)
