A forward-thinking and inclusive school based in Knowsley, Liverpool is looking for a bright, empathetic Psychology graduate to join their SEN support team as a Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic stepping stone if you're considering a career in Educational or Clinical Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or SEN Teaching.

You'll be working closely with students who have EHCPs and a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and communication barriers. Your role will involve providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support-helping students thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

What You'll Be Doing:

Providing targeted, compassionate support to students with special educational needs
Supporting pupils with Autism and communication difficulties to build confidence and independence
Managing challenging behaviour using evidence-based strategies
Collaborating with SENCOs, therapists, and teaching staff to deliver a whole-child approach
Gaining hands-on experience with EHCPs, adaptive teaching, and early intervention strategies
