We are seeking a motivated and experienced
Senior Planner

Responsibilities
As a Senior Planner, you will play a pivotal role in the consultancy's success by:

Preparing, submitting, and managing planning applications and supporting documents.

Leading client communications and managing projects from inception to completion.

Providing expert planning advice across a variety of sectors, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Representing clients at planning committee meetings, consultations, and public inquiries.

Contributing to business development activities and fostering strong client relationships.

Mentoring and supporting junior team members to help them achieve their professional goals.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

MRTPI Chartered status or to be actively working towards chartership.

Previous experience in a private consultancy or a similar professional environment.

A strong understanding of planning legislation, as well as national and local planning policies.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.

A proactive, commercially aware mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.

A full UK driving licence or the willingness to travel as required.

Your typical day as a Senior Planner will involve:
